We are delighted and honoured to welcome Catherina McKiernan , our National record holder of Marathon distance @ 2 : 22 : 23 to Clonakilty Waterfront Marathon 2018.
She earned this outstanding time and title at Berlin Marathon 1997 , the fastest ever debut marathon by a women.
There are so many achievements by Catherina, London Marathon winner 1998, Amsterdam Marathon winner 1998, Lisbon Half Marathon , Dublin Mini Marathon and many more .
Catherina was also representing Ireland in World Cross Country Championship , winning gold and silver medals as an individual and as a team.
