“Bobbi” Gibb is the first woman to have run the entire Boston Marathon. She is recognized by the Boston Athletic Association as the pre-sanctioned era women’s winner in 1966, 1967, and 1968.
We are honoured Bobbi joined us at the Clonakilty Waterfront Marathon VII and we loved hearing her story on Friday 2nd December in the Quality hotel,Clonakilty.
Bobbi is on 2016 finish medal as a symbol of strength , endurance,passion and a passionate peace believer.
