We are sorry to announce that if you had planned to run any of the five Keith Whyte Ultra Marathon distances in Courtmacsherry in July 2016, unfortunately it will not be going ahead this year.
So far over the course of three years…
We have had the exclusive and utmost privilege to invite global icons TEAM HOYT from Boston for their inaugural visit to Ireland and to participate in the Keith Whyte Ultra Marathon III last year, creating and immortalizing special memories and moments for everyone who had supported and participated on the day. 🙂 🙂
We have had the Irish 100k Champion, Mr. Keith Whyte, to whom the race is named after in recognition of his established running career, participate and support runners along the road ‘where the sea is always by your side’ in the quaint countryside town of Courtmacsherry and had Miles of Smiles from 370 10k to 100k runners and wheelchair participants.
We hope to see you all next year in 2017! 😉
We wish that you have the chance to participate and have a safe and fun run in other races happening around Ireland throughout the year and we look forward to seeing everyone down in West Cork on December 3rd 2016 for the Clonakilty Waterfront Marathon VII (with special iconic guests to be announced shortly!) 🙂 🙂 xx
