A big West Cork welcome to all runners taking part in the 10km, half and full marathon in Clonakilty, West Cork. The marathon is operating in accordance with all government guidelines regarding COVID 19. In an effort to protect everyone’s health and to ensure a safe race, please take note of the following:
- Only hotel residents will have access to the Clonakilty Park Hotel before the race
- There will be no access to the main hotel car park or to the hotel, prior to the race.
- In advance of the race, all runners will be channelled around the back of the hotel from the cinema car park and filtered down to the start line
- Toilets and a bag drop facility will be avilable in the cinema. A mask will be required for entry and please observe social distancing.
- When you complete the race and receive your medal, please do not dwindle at the finish line or in the main hotel car park.
- Showers will not be available to race participants
- Subject to capacity, any runners wishing to avail of the hotel facilities after the race must wear a mask and produce their COVID pass and ID.
- There will be no tea/coffee or Clonakilty Black Pudding stalls in the main hotel car park due to Covid restrictions.
